Heart-pounding bodycam footage shows the moments NYPD cops rushed the suspected migrant gang member shot by ICE to the hospital in their own vehicle.
Officers pulled up to the Marble Hill Avenue scene where 28-year-old Oscar Belgal had just been shot by the feds around 4 p.m. Thursday — one pointing out, “He’s got a gun,” referring to a construction-vest ICE agent, who held the long weapon.
“ICE just shot somebody!” bystanders yelled as the uniformed cops stepped out of their car, next to the wounded man sitting on the ground. “You got ICE shooting at people?”
ICE agents stood by as the cops radioed for an ambulance to respond quickly, but ultimately carried Belgal into their car and rushed him to NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital.
His injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
