Dancing With the Stars pros Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov had an instant dance chemistry that quickly translated into a real-life romance.

While the twosome grew up dancing with separate partners, Pashkov needed a new teammate in early 2009, which is when he connected with Karagach. After a 20-minute tryout, the pair had a feeling this was a special partnership. “We knew instantly that we were right for each other,” Karagach, who was 15 at the time, gushed to Dance Sport Info in June 2017.

As a dancing duo, Karagach and Pashkov have won multiple international competitions together before making it to the Qualifiers round of World of Dance season 2. They both joined the cast of DWTS in 2019, with Pashkov teaching Kate Flannery to dance and Karagach performing in the troupe. Karagach received her first celebrity partner — Nelly — the following season.

In addition to working side-by-side on the ABC dancing competition, the choreographers’ romance has continued to blossom since they tied the knot in 2014. During Dancing With the Stars season 32 in 2023, the couple became the first-ever married couple to face off in the season finale.

The twosome started as dance partners after being introduced by their mutual coaches.

One month after the Emmy nominee turned 16, she started dating Pashkov amidst their dance training.

After four years of dating, the Baruch College grad proposed on January 1, 2012. They wed two years later.

Shortly after the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary, they were both cast as professional dancers on DWTS. While Pashkov was given a pro partner during season 28, Karagach danced in troupe.

The duo launched their Wedding Dance School program in October, providing dance lessons to newly engaged couples.

“There’s nothing like sharing your dreams and passion with your person,” the College of Staten Island alum captioned a steamy dressing room pic with her husband during the DWTS tour.

The couple kissed during a spontaneous date night.

The So You Think You Can Dance choreographers danced together during their Jamaica vacation.

Karagach and Pashkov cuddled in the DWTS rehearsal studio in an Instagram Story video, teasing a duet on the next live show.

Us confirmed Karagach's first pregnancy. "Baby Pashkov coming May ’23🤍 We love you more than words could ever express," she gushed via Instagram at the time, sharing a photo of herself holding a tiny pair of shoes. 

The twosome announced via social media that they are expecting a baby girl. They had a combined sex reveal party and a 30th birthday bash for Karagach.

Pashkov cradled his wife’s baby bump at her 30th birthday party in Brooklyn, New York.

The pair celebrated their daughter’s arrival with a teddy bear-themed baby shower on April 8.

“My mom flew in from New York and created the ‘Bearly Wait’ theme with little teddy bears. She is seriously the best at planning and decorating parties and venues,” Karagach exclusively told Us Weekly at the time. “She’s been doing all my birthdays and [planned] our wedding as well.”

The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Nikita, on May 30, and confirmed her arrival one day later via Instagram.

“Oh man, we were close already. We're together for almost 15 years,” Karagach exclusively told Us of how her bond with Pashkov shifted after their daughter was born. “He's literally the best father. And just watching him with her, holding our daughter, it just made me love him even more.”

The pair made DWTS history as the first married couple to compete against one another in the finale. 

The couple celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary.

“Married for a DECADE!!! Our wedding day was the best day filled with love, dancing, smooching and laughs,” they captioned a joint Instagram post. “It was the best (other than Nikita being born) day in our lives and if we could, we’d relive that day everyday.”

The couple had daughter Nikita by their side as they attended the premiere of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch.

It was game on for Karagach and Pashkov as they enjoyed the FIFA World Cup in Los Angeles with VIP seats.

“Had the time of our lives🙌,” the couple wrote via Instagram after date night. “Thank you for having us @fifaworldcup 🥰#fifaworldcup2026.”

The couple returned to the DWTS ballroom for season 35 with Karagach working alongside Ezra Frech and Pashkov teaming up with Amber Glenn.

"It’s always easier to watch Dani after I perform my dance, because then I don’t need to focus anymore and then I can just enjoy,” Pashkov exclusively told Us. “You want to be there. You want to support.”
