AEW Collision results:
This week's episode kicked off with Continental Cup action as Conglomeration members Orange Cassidy and Kyle O'Reilly went one-on-one. The finish saw O'Reilly lock Cassidy in a grapevine ankle lock to score the victory via submission.
Booking Grade: 10/10
- Very fun opening contest
- This was a match that could have truly gone either way
- O'Reilly showed concern for his friend, but didn't allow it to cost him the win
A backstage segment airs that took place after Wednesday night's episode of Dynamite. Renee Paquette was in the trainer's room with Nigel McGuinness. Will Ospreay came in to get ice for his back and the two men in their own way helped put things into perspective for each other heading into All In: London next weekend. This was very well done.
Divine Dominion don't get paid by the hour
Back in the ring, AEW Women's World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion compete in a five-minute challenge against Erica Leigh and Tiara James. This was a complete squash match for the champions that lasted less than two minutes.
Booking Grade: 6/10
- They really need to put some credible opponents in these five minute challenges to make them more credible
- Multiple squash matches in succession for title holders feels lazy
- Divine Dominion using Two Birds, One Stone in this match was a nice tough
"Birds, watch and learn!"
It's said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but not likely in this case for the Divine Dominion!

The finish of the match saw Castagnoli lock Garcia in the Sharpshooter to win the match via submission.
Booking Grade: 8/10
- The winner of this match was never in doubt
- Garcia made the most of an opportunity he wasn't supposed to be in
- It would have been better to book someone whom the fans believed had a shot at winning
It's announced that the semi-finals of the Continental Cup will see Kyle O'Reilly take on Nigel McGuinness while Jon Moxley takes on Claudio Castagnoli.
A video package airs for The Dogs, highlighting Gabe Kidd's return to the company earlier this week on Dynamite.
The business relationship between the Hurt Syndicate and Shane Taylor Promotions continues
We get another squash match that saw The Hurt Syndicate and Lee Moriarty of Shane Taylor Promotions defeat Ryan O'Neil, Nic Nolan, and Matt Mako. Moriarty got the victory for the team after Lashley and Benjamin did all the work and then left.

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) August 23, 2026After the match, Shane Taylor cut a promo calling out any trio to come out and face him and The Infantry. The Bang Bang Gang answered the challenge, leading to an impromptu matchup. The finish saw Jay White hit Carlie Bravo with the Bladerunner to score the pinfall victory for his team.
Jay White cuts a promo following the match, making it clear they're going to be involved in whatever this multi-man trios match is at All In next weekend.
Booking Grade: 7.5/10
- Yet another squash match... but it had a nice twist
- There seems to be a story that's being built between the two groups with how the Hurt Syndicate was used here
- Bridging a squash match into a match of substance is exactly how it should be done

- I believe we'll see all four of these men compete in the Casino Gauntlet
Champion versus champion in the main event
In the main event of the evening, Willow Nightingale defended the AEW Women's World Championship against TBS Champion Maya World. The finish of the match saw Nightingale catch World with a backslide pin to score the victory.
Booking Grade: 8/10
